Mitrovica: Reconstructed in 2001, New Bridge Mitrovica (also known as Ura e Ibrit) is a steel truss bridge crossing the Ibar river in Mitrovica, a city in northern Kosovo. The contract was awarded to Freyssinet Ltd (Civil and Structural Engineers) and funded by the French Government.The contract’s terms stipulated that a multi-ethnic construction team are hired to rebuild the bridge.
